Let's recap what has transpired in In-Cosmetics Global 2024!

In-Cosmetics Global 2024 was successfully held in Paris last week. Congratulations to our partner! CODIF has taken home the 3rd Innovation Award for REGETASTE!

Furthermore, CODIF learned that they were honoured with the first two BSB Awards for Sensory Apple Pomace (in the functional ingredient category) and Regetaste (in the active ingredient category).

REGETASTE: ANTI-AGEING Active Ingredient - Fighting against EPIDERMAL SENESCENCE 

REGETASTE harnesses the full potential of the five senses as well as the upcycling trend, REGETASTE promotes anti-aging benefits and enhances the radiant attractiveness of skin.

REGETASTE which has a high concentration of polyphenols and the ideal acidity, is derived from apple pomace by-products (appleMarieMenard) in the cider industry. REGETASTE produces a calcium flash by boosting and activating bitter receptors. It reverses the ageing of cells; keratinocyte differentiation is reactivated. Finally, it enhances the natural complexion, offers the appearance of fresh skin, and helps natural exfoliation produce soft, smooth skin.

SENSORY APPLE POMACE: A green alternative to PMMA (PolyMethylMetAcrylate).

Apple pomace is recycled from the beverage industry (cider and apple juice); this Marie Menard apple has been certified to meet ORGANIC standards. The dried apple pomace is then micronised via a non-denaturing process that complies with the COSMOS ORGANIC standard to obtain a fine and tactile powder: SENSORY APPLE POMACE. 

SENSORY APPLE POMACE is widely used in makeup products such as liquid foundation, face powder, compact foundation, serums, and day creams to bring mattifying properties, sensoriality, and covering effect.

Unlike PMMA, SENSORY APPLE POMACE does not contain microplastics, ensuring safety for consumers' health. Simultaneously, it lessens the substantial volume of microplastic debris discharged into the ecosystem annually.
